Pere Lluís Cabot
Bachelor Degree in Chemistry by the Universidad de Barcelona (UB), he obtained his PhD in Chemistry in 1984 also by the UB, where he has taught since 1980. He has been Secretary of the Department of Physical Chemistry and then dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, and is now the dean of the Faculty in second term. He is a researcher of the Laboratory of Materials Electrochemistry and the Environment (LEMMA). In that power, he had worked on the lines of electrochemical corrosion, anodic oxidation, electrocatalysis, fuel cells and electrochemical treatment of organic pollutants in water. He has participated in 46 projects of R + D + i and in 26 competitive contracts, agreements and R + D + i noncompetitive. He has received 2 awards / research support from Domingo Martinez Foundation related to the conversion of CFCs and the development of fuel cells. He has supervised 6 doctoral theses and has made about 160 publications in refereed journals, 3 patents, 25 publications as books and book chapters and 170 presentations at national and international conferences.
