Eiichi Negishi
Researcher at the Purdue University. Awarded with the Chemistry Nobel Prize in 2010

PhD by the University of Pennsylvania and Chemical from the University of Tokyo. He has been researcher at the Purdue University (U.S.A) for more than 30 years and he is known for the discovery of the “Negishi Coupling”. He was co awarded, along with Richard Heck and Akira Suzuki with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2010, for developing chemical reactions with palladium catalysts to create sophisticated chemicals.
